curiosity has taken me to some interesting places
My love of photography taught me to notice the little things worth capturing. Baking opened up another way to create. Teaching, hosting and bringing people together showed me just how much can happen when someone is given the encouragement to try.
The ideas are different. The curiosity is the same.
I’ve seen what happens when people feel free to try
A good teacher can make a new skill feel possible. The right photographer can make being in front of the camera feel less intimidating. A generous host can turn a room full of strangers into a table of people talking like they've known each other for years.
That feeling matters just as much as what you take away from the experience.
and over time, I’ve learnt a few things
about people, creativity and what makes an experience worth remembering
everyone starts somewhere
You don't need to be the most experienced person in the room to belong there.
Curiosity is a powerful starting point.
Recipes, skills, encouragement, photographs, ideas and the stories that come with them. I’ve never been particularly interested in keeping the good stuff to myself.
good things are worth sharing
there’s always room to try something new
A new recipe. A different way of seeing your work. A creative skill you've never tried. A destination you've always wanted to visit. Every “Yes” makes the next one easier.
so where does that curiosity lead?
A few different places, as it turns out…
retreats
I host creative retreats in beautiful places, built around learning, making, exploring and the people you meet along the way.
picture perfect
I offer one-on-one photography mentoring for bakers, cooks and creative businesses who want to create better photographs of their own work, using the camera, space, lighting and styling they already have.
photography
I photograph creative businesses and the people behind them, with a particular love for bakers, makers and brands where the person is part of what makes the business worth choosing.
gathered
I’ve written a cookbook, gathered, built around recipes worth making, sharing and keeping. Each has been adapted for Thermomix® and brought together through the people and stories behind them.
thermomix®
I offer practical cooking support, demonstrations and hands-on experiences for people who want to get more from their Thermomix® and enjoy using it in real life.
And somewhere in the middle of all of it, there’s me
(and by ‘in the middle’ I mean behind the camera, beside the kitchen bench, coordinating and supporting - not centre stage)
I’m a photographer, baker, Thermomix® consultant, teacher, host and enthusiastic collector of interests.
I’m also much happier making something than talking about myself, which is probably why there are significantly more photographs of everyone else on this website.
What I do love is finding the thing that makes someone light up, then figuring out how to give them a little more of it.
That might be a better photograph, a new recipe, a skill they didn't think they could learn, or an experience they nearly talked themselves out of trying.
there’s always something worth saying “Yes” to
a retreat being planned, a recipe being tested, a photograph being taken or a new idea taking shape
You don't have to know exactly what you're looking for yet.

No constant inbox filling. Just the good stuff, when there’s something worth sharing.
