set up cookidoo.
Create your account using the same email you'll use on your Thermomix, then download the Cookidoo app so you can browse from anywhere. Save five recipes you'd actually cook. That's all you need before the box arrives.
what to cook first.
Pick one from each over your first couple of weeks. I'll change these with the seasons.
Really easy: Lemonade
Something you normally buy: Plain Yoghurt in Varoma
Dinner: "Marry me" chicken pasta
Dough: Pizza dough
Something fun: Torta caprese (flourless almond cake)

My basil and macadamia pesto, inspired by Sandi, is from gathered. It's a forgiving first manual cook: open Manual Cooking and set the time and speed for each step yourself.

In person or online. You don't need to invite anyone. We'll go through the bits you're unsure about, Cookidoo, the modes you'll actually use, and whatever you normally cook.
come and cook.
Cooking sessions through the year, in person and sometimes online. You don't need to be new, and you don't need to bring your Thermomix.

Sign in with your existing Cookidoo account and your saved recipes come with you. Start with food you know, then try one new feature at a time, like Open Cooking or Browning. Check the model label on saved recipes, especially ones a friend sends you.
